This MTB wheel set weight calculator offers a simply tool to easily approximate the relative weight of a wheel set given your selection of rims, hubs, spokes and nipples.  Simply click on the components that you are interested in, and the product "price" is actually a basic estimate of what the wheel set will weigh in grams, not including the skewers.  Of particular interest, this utility quickly helps you reference weights of relative components, so that you are able to make better/more informed decisions with regards to potential component upgrades.  The calculated wheel set weights will not be exact, any referenced weight is based on basic averages, and thus have the potential for errors.  This utility is meant only for personal entertainment, and should not be used to reference actual products.
