The DT Swiss RR1.2® road rim represents Herculean strength matched with stunning beauty.  We do not officially support the prospect of buying a wheel set due simply to how good it looks, but if that were indeed your motivation to add these to your arsenal, you will be pleased with your decision.  The DT RR1.2’s® finish is impressive, the machined sidewalls are the epitome of precision; the welded joint is an unnecessary perk.  The sidewalls are finished so smoothly in fact, that we can true wheels laterally to a level of precision that is way beyond necessary, sometimes down to sub one-half of one-tenth of one millimeter.  Did we mention that these rims are strong?

These wheels are recommended for serious riders that log training miles, riders looking to go fast on the flats, to commuters that simply haul heavy loads and want to ride worry free, or to anyone trying to impress the ladies on their Saturday ride with a stunning amount of wheel bling.

We’re now building these rims into a myriad selection of MTB disc brake and non-disc hubs for hybrid, comfort, and city touring bicycles; thus all of the the rear wheels use hubs with 135mm OLD spacing.  Please note that while it is possible to select a front wheel using a 20mm thru-axle hub from the below options, we're guessing that bicycles equipped with a fork requiring this type of hub are rare.  All the other front hubs use/have an O.L.D. of 100mm, which is standard for all Road and MTB forks that do not use a thru-axle hub.
