Weekend warriors looking to upgrade to a more serious pair of wheels should take a look at these.  Mavic CXP33® rims employ the use of Mavic’s Maxtal® metal alloy, SUP® welded seams, and precision CNC machined side walls for excellent stopping power, a crucial necessity if encountering a sudden red light.  These rims are light weight yet very aerodynamic (approx. 470g), which is great for anyone who knows what it's like to spin a big gear and loves the feel of speed.  Thanks to their aero profile and Mavic’s Maxtal alloy, these rims are also very strong, great for training or everyday abuse.

One thing you will notice about these rims, different from many other Mavic rims, is their lack of stainless steel eyelets.  The tapered point of the aero profile doesn’t physically allow for the space required by eyelets, but Mavic has developed an internal cup to support nipples in relatively the same manner as eyelets do.

We’re now building these rims into a myriad selection of MTB disc brake and non-disc hubs for hybrid, comfort, and city touring bicycles; thus all of the the rear wheels use hubs with 135mm OLD spacing.  Please note that while it is possible to select a front wheel using a 20mm thru-axle hub from the below options, we're guessing that bicycles equipped with a fork requiring this type of hub are rare.  All the other hubs use/have an O.L.D. of 100mm, which is standard for all Road and MTB forks that do not use a thru-axle hub.
