DT Swiss RR415® rims offer a slightly taller profile than the legendary Mavic Open Pro®, but manages to do so with less overall weight, about 415g each.  This saves weight were its most critical, the furthest point on the wheel from the hub.   Overall the RR415 is an exemplary welded road rim with incredibly precise machined sidewalls, single stainless eyelets for nipple support, and DT’s innovative break wear indicators, (the small dots in the sidewall).  The overall finish quality of these rims is excellent.  The RR415 is a great option for a top end road wheel set for racing, climbing, or for anyone whom places an emphasize on their component quality.

These wheels are built with Bicycle Wheel Warehouse light weight Pure RT series road hubs.  Pure RT hubs have a super clean ano finish over a nicely machined aluminum hub shell, use high end Japanese sealed cartridge bearings that are easy to replace, revolve around a strong steel axle, and include a tough steel freehub body that will resist cassette wear.  The rear freehub body is easy to remove, replace, or convert between Shimano and Campy.

These wheels are built using a 32 hole/three cross lace pattern which offers excellent lateral strength while still allowing each wheel to absorb a fair amount of road vibration.  These wheels will be built with black DT Swiss Competition 2.0/1.8mm spokes on the rear drive side with black brass nipples, and black DT Competition 1.8/1.6mm spokes with black alloy nipples on the front wheel and rear wheel non-drive side.
