If you are researching the best wheels you can buy for your road bike, no doubt your search has included wheels built using Shimano's legendary Dura-Ace® hubs.  The rear hub features a titanium free hub body, fast free hub engagement, and greatly improved seal barriers. We are offering these hubs with Mavic's Open Pro® CD welded rims. As you already probably know, the Open Pro® rim is one of the best rims available any where. The rim is extremely stiff, and the CNC sidewalls are incredibly precise, sometimes allowing us to build wheels that are true within 1/2 of 1/10 of a mm!

In an effort to create the best wheel set possible, these wheels are laced using Sapim Race® black double butted spokes with black alloy nipples. These spokes are extremely light, aerodynamic, and strong. The front and rear wheels are built with 32 spokes using a three cross lacing pattern.
