These road wheels are excellent for logging thousands of training miles, but are also serious enough to use on race day.  The rim is very light weight (approx. 435g), which is great considering its mass affects the wheels rotational inertia the most, being the furthest distance from the hub.  The Mavic Open Pro® rim also features precision machined side walls for excellent stopping power, as well as full double stainless steel eyeleted spoke holes for better spoke support and longevity.

These wheels are built using a three cross lace pattern, which offers a great blend between the wheel's ability to accelerate yet still absorb road shock.  They also come with Shimano Ultegra 6700® series hubs (8/9/10 speed compatible), which not only look great, but more importantly perform consistently over time.  Finished with DT Swiss silver or black double butted Competition® spokes and brass or alloy nipples, we hope you'll love these wheels as much as we do.
