Pure Tour full custom wheel sets offer a reliable alternative to those whom need heavy duty wheels that work without compromise.  The Pure Tour rim is 30mm tall and a full 21mm wide, creating a triangular rim platform that is exceedingly strong.  We view the Pure Tour rim as the new Go-To rim in the upward durability wheel segment.  Designed with a pronounced wear indicator in the sidewall that helps dissipate heat while braking.

These wheels are built with Shimano 6700 series road hubs, please select either 32 holes or 36 for the front and rear wheels.  Ultegra hubs have a proven record of performance over time, are exceptionally finished, and include a lot of nice machining touches only found on the top end road hubs, (chamfered hub flange edges, spoke holes drilled as inboard as possible, etc).

We are building these wheels with DT Swiss Competition double butted spokes and brass or alloy nipples, using a three cross lace pattern, which offers a great blend between each wheel's ability to accelerate yet still absorb road shock.
